When you join, buy from the Ship’s Store, or sign in to the member portal, you give us information such as your name, email address, phone number, boat details, shipping address, and membership tier. Payment card details are entered with our payment processor and are never stored on our servers.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages requested, in server logs used to operate and secure the site. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies.

We use your information to process payments, manage your membership and member number, issue your digital membership card, fulfill and ship store orders, send membership and order email, provide reciprocal and partner access, and keep the site secure. We rely on it to deliver the membership you have asked for and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the club, and only as needed to provide their service:

• Stripe, to process payments and subscriptions.
• Supabase, which hosts our membership database.
• Resend, to deliver membership and order email.
• Printful, to print and ship apparel orders.
• PassKit, to issue Apple and Google Wallet membership cards.
• Vercel, which hosts this website.

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it for advertising. We may disclose information if required by law.

We keep cookies to a minimum. We use a single strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in to the member portal, and your browser’s local storage to remember your shopping cart. Both are essential to features you have asked for, so no consent banner is required. We do not use analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies.

We keep membership and order records for as long as you are a member and as long afterward as we need them for accounting, tax, and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete information we are no longer required to keep.

You may ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and you can unsubscribe from non-essential email at any time. Residents of California, the EU, the UK, and other regions may have additional rights under their local laws, including the right to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, write to us at info@sammamishyachtclub.com and we will respond promptly.

Access to member data is restricted and limited to club administration. Connections to the site are encrypted, payment data is handled by Stripe, and credentials are kept in secured server configuration. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

The site and membership are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

The club operates in Washington State, United States, and your information is processed there and by the providers listed above. If you visit from outside the United States, you understand your information will be handled in the United States.
